Why do our prices fluctuate or say "Price on Request"?

Gold, diamond and gemstone prices are quoted in US dollars and we convert them to a South African Rand value. As the Rand/Dollar exchange rate changes daily, we have to calculate according to this rate. This applies especially to bespoke items. Silver prices are more stable and so these items do not fluctuate much.
